Have you ever started a project only to see it fall apart halfway through? Well, that’s the best way to describe Accidental Love (2015), a Frankensteinian David O. Russell film originally written and shot before Obamacare was passed. Does this political satire hold up or is it more of a pre-existing condition?
Starring Jessica Biel, Jake Gyllenhaal, Tracy Morgan, and Catherine Keener, this picture manages to showcase none of their talents. Well, maybe Jessica Biel’s talent. She is in the 4 J’s of Bad Movies, after all.
While there were a few funny moments, most of them were just Tracy Morgan’s delivery making us laugh.
