Take one of the hottest action stars of the 90s and team them up with the mother from Golden Girls. Is THIS the formula for success? That’s what we discover with our 4% movie, Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot (1992)!

Starring Sylvester Stallone, Estelle Getty, and Jobeth Williams, this buddy comedy was written by screenwriter Blake Snyder (Save the Cat) and directed by Roger Spottiswoode.

Is this Stallone classic misunderstood? Is it the mother-son version of Seven we’ve all been waiting for? Should you and mom watch this for Mother’s Day? Give this a listen and let us know!

What cinema gems did we miss out on?

Cool World is the standout picture here:

Sure, Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot wasn’t the worst movie we’ve ever seen. It’s honestly almost 5 times better than Master of Disguise. And we felt a noticeable shift in film quality here, which is something at least.
